Toshiba robot cell linishing railway brake pad ends and dovetails - two identical cells

The Toshiba robot handles brake pads between stations for linishing and gauging. The system provides consistent quality and health and safety improvements.
The operator load and unloads component blanks to a belt conveyor for feeding in and out of the robot cell. The robot with its vacuum gripper will handle the component between a dovetail machining unit, an end linish machine and a gauge station.

The 4 axis Toshiba robot does the hard work in this dirty and hostile work area.
