AMT have developed robotic adhesive sealant applications and we will be developing further the equipment and process for 2-axis up to 6-axis adhesive robot systems. AMT are very experienced with 2 component adhesive systems and have supplied robotic adhesive systems for Nissan spoiler assembly, plastic door lay down, Aston Martin body lay down, etc. The robot adhesive lay down system will provide a controlled and consistent lay down of the adhesive bead with consistent quality. The adhesive will be applied efficiently with material savings using robot lay down. Particular experience with ITW Plexus and Dow 2 component adhesive. AMT design and manufacture the cure and clamping nests to match the production quantities with the cure times. High-quality adhesive metering is utilised with advantages as below.

Doming - 2 component
AMT
have been developing 2-axis and 3-axis doming machines for the badge manufacturing market. The robot and the metering equipment provide a reliable and quick method to dome badges with cost savings at a higher quality. The Toshiba/Shibaura Cartesian robots are ideal for doming with its point-to-point programming method and also has an advanced controller for writing script in a controlled manner.

Similar technology is utilised for single component adhesives and sealants including solder paste dotting.
