AMT are developing with the Toshiba robot, end of line robotic packing to meet the fast cycle times demanded combining the flexibility for batch variants. The Toshiba robots will pack into boxes or trays at high speed using vacuum or pneumatic grippers, loading packs singularly or in multiples. The systems include the product conveyors, box/crate conveyors, crate de-stackers and/or box erectors. The robot packing provides the savings to meet the ever increasing demands of the supermarkets to get lower costs and ensuring the quality and quantity of the packing. The cost savings and benefits is very worthwhile.

After the end of line packing AMT provide the robotic palletising system utilizing the Kawasaki 4 axis palletizing robot for stacking crates or boxes onto pallets. Conveyors are provided to marshal the boxes for robot pick up and for feeding pallets. The complete solution is provided based on robotic engineering including the interconnecting conveyors.
